We have different types of clay and glazes to choose on.
During the workshop, we will introduce you to the properties of these materials and guide you in choosing the right ones for your project.
Workshop Experience
. Overview of handmade ceramics: clay, forming, glazing, and firing
. Space to answer most questions you may have about ceramics
. Guided hands-on experience to create your own piece
Firing & Collection
. Your piece will be kept at the studio to dry and be fired
. Estimated pickup time: 2–3 weeks, depending on the firing schedule
. Each piece may vary in glaze color and surface—these are natural marks of clay, glaze, and fire
1. Hand-building Foundation / 6 days
Create forms with clay, shaped only by hand
- pinching a small bowl
- coiling a vase
- slab-building a square cube / box
- combination of 2–3 technique
- glazing

/ After this course, you’ll know how to work with clay, no matter the shape or style
2. Wheel-throwing Basic / 10 days
Create forms through motion on the wheel
- clay prep
- meeting the Wheel, centering
- opening & cylinder - the foundation of all forms
- control & correction - learning through failure
- holding the form - make a cup/ mug
- expanding & closing - bowl/wide bowl
- controlling height - vase
- trimming
- glazing
- firing & review
/ After the course, practicing at least twice a week for around 1-2 months will help you build confidence and control.
Self-Craft Session / Flexible Schedule
An open studio space for independent making - with full access to all the tools, and materials, allowing complete freedom to explore personal projects in any ceramic form.
Private 1:1 Session / Flexible Schedule
A private 1:1 session where clay becomes a quiet way to express what words cannot - held slowly, through touch, silence, conversation, and whatever you bring with you that day.
For those who need to reconnect with themselves, listen inward, or are unsure of what they want.
